I DO NOT OWN THIS, I AM PURELY UPLOADING FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

I know that a lot of people have been looking for this, and this is one of the best films about the Holocaust that I have seen, originally made for television, and based on Fania Fénelon's autobiography 'The Musicians of Auschwitz.' Starring Vanessa Redgrave, Jane Alexander and look out for a young Christine Baranski.

  • The holocaust has been exploited way too much, plus, I cannot stand that ugly woman Redgrave.

  • Thank you very much I needed this for a paper that I am doing on this movie for a class that I am taking. Having it on Youtube makes it easier to find and watch :D

  • many thanks for posting, last time I saw this I was twenty years old and I wanted to be an actress- killer cast of the best actresses of their day in one film- sure there's Christine Baranski, but does anyone remember Verna Bloom?

  • It always amazed me in the 1920s and early 30s how hitler could draw masses of crowds almost overnight, they only had limited radio and newpapers, there was no TV, internet, cable, ipods, etc.. a demonic force could only made that possible.

  • @soolerman That is so well said sir, and it can happen in any country, even in usa.

  • I remember when this aired on TV. Well made.. Everyone should see it!! Thank you for sharing it with the world!

  • @thecharladyespana Was definitely looking for it...thanks...would love to see Schindler's as well...

  • @kwaggavoetpad ah, that might explain it, thanks.

  • @silu81 This bothered me when I first saw the movie. Fenelon was transferred from Auschwitz to Bergen-Belsen, which was liberated by the British. The movie doesn't make this very clear -- perhaps that part of the story ended up on the cuttting-room floor.

  • The British were never in Auschwitz, it was liberated by the russians, whats going on.
