  • wow there are alot of comments by people who act like they know everything about Bob Harper and crossfit. Bob has done alot to help people and inform people about being healthy. I think crossfit is amazing and if it works for you then that is awesome, if not then go watch a video about regular lifting routines. Let's look at the positives here.

  • it kills me how many people just talk shit and don't have a clue what they are talking about... I have a 4 year degree in Kinesiology and good CrossFit programming is by far the best way to get in good shape, Period. Bad on joints?? form is hammered time and time again in a good CrossFit Box... feel bad for their joints?? how about that heavy bench every Monday, prob not good for the joints either, do some research on Rhabdomolysis before you talk about it.. anyone can get it, not just CF'ers!

  • bert krak tattoos.

  • @MWhetstone48 How many National Champions have you trained?? How many professional athletes have you worked with?? Please defend high rep complex lifts and lack of programming....

  • @MWhetstone48 If you think doing complex movements for high reps is great then you are an idiot. If you're trying to make someone tired have them run up a hill or do sleds

  • @MWhetstone48 Funny how you dodge all my questions....

  • @MWhetstone48 Did I say there was something wrong with "functional movements", or squats, deadlifts, oly lifts, etc?? Did I say there was something wrong with interval training??

  • @performbetter1234 what's wrong with getting better at various skills that increase coordination, balance, accuracy, stamina, power, speed, strength, agility? CrossFit in the wrong hands can be dangerous but so can a treadmill!! I do program bb/db/inverted ring/trx rows, I do program lateral movements, so just cuz you read a few articles or scanned the website please don't act like you know what CrossFit is.... Cuz you have no idea... General fitness and general preparedness is CrossFit.

  • @performbetter1234 unfortunately for you, you don't know what I do at all... Explain to me what's wrong with 'constantly varied functional movements done at high intensities'? What's wrong with interval type training? What's wrong with programming that increases capacity in the three major energy systems? What's wrong with always emphasizing form and correct movement patterns everyday? What's wrong with, squating, deadlifting, pullups, push ups, doing oly lifts with light weights?

  • @MWhetstone48 I have my Kin degree as well but the difference is I tran real athletes that play real sports. Please jusfify high rep deadlifts/oly lifts/squats. Or the fact that CF is mainly sagittal plane exercises. Apparently we live in a 2D world (well maybe you and the rest of the CF world does). Lay off the Kool-Aid, read some anatomy books so you completely understand the problem with a ridiculous high number of presses and basically 0 horizontal rows.

  • @MWhetstone48 Congrats on your 4 year degree, do you train people? If so I feel sorry for them...Crossfit is the best way to injure yourself, period...I thought your 4 year degree would have taught you about overuse injuries, random retarded programming, no sense of individualization whatsoever, and general common sense.

  • Bob u off the grains yet and on the paleo wagon yet?
