@TheForza1000 Hey, at least it will give us Brits the chance to drive the Chrysler/Lancia Delta :)
-
@rmcld ; Cheers, agree the chrysler/ fiat deal sucks.
-
@TheForza1000 Yes yes i got it, it was my mistake, i apologize.
The VW engines and cheaper price is what captures to buy Skodas or Seats, there´s always the general idea VW is the best when it comes to making Diesel engines wich i don´t agree, since i know alot of people that had problems very early with those type of cars, i love Alfas, my dad had a 156 2.4 JTD sw and i loved it to death, anyways, i think the 4C might be a new bright future for Alfa, but seeing Alfas with Chrysler badges sucks.
-
@rmcld ; For the record i never said skoda is better than any car let alone a superior brand such as Alfa.
Where do you get your info from....skoda are vile motorised wheelie bins for people who don't care for style or
anything beautiful, they pick a skoda because they have been fooled by JD surveys...i'd rather drive a stunning machine with a rich heritage even with the chance of having to fix something outside of servicing than a dull turd like a skoda which no more reliable than any other car
-
Oh also Alfa romeo are just about the best looking cars on sale at similar money to the Junk produced by the vw group ie skoda.
-
@rmcld ; Well for me Alfa is far superior to skoda, you won't find any vintage skoda's winning grand prix's and
being made for royalty or top actors from the 30's to the late 60's..
You won't find any skoda for sale at 3 million euro, you will find plenty of vintage Alfa's commanding top end money....ALFA ROMEO was the birth place of the Ferrari brand...goodbye skoda....
-
@TheForza1000 The Forza1000 is correct - Skodas are better than Alfas - proven fact. this comment made believe so, my bad, good luck with your Alfa, peace

@skorob2010 That just shows how much you know about cars, your Skoda Octavia is a VW Jetta with a different bodyshell. The Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 has the same horsepower than the Superb with less displacement, it also is 4WD and new (in 2006, read it in a review by Autocar.) cost 28.500£ which is 1.500£ less than the Skoda Superb 3.6. Alfa Romeo has won European Car of the Year in 98 and 01, 2nd place in 2011 and third in 2006 with the 159, while Skodas aren't even on the list.
