Mr. Mitchell, the conductor, can get a bit carried away toward the end of the concerts :) Playing in his band was a lot of fun, but he retired this past school year.

best recording on youtube, and around 4:20, it's hard to hear the flute runs up to trills for a few beats and I felt it was a bit fast for my taste, but it was really good :)

great job. i'm in high school now, and we're playing this song and i love it. i liked the tempo--nice and fast.

you cant hear the clarinets/bass clarinets/bassoons enough under the flute solo /soli. but this is one of the better recordings on here. =)

I was a percussionist in this band many many years ago (1989). They did me proud here! They truly are the gold standard for high school wind ensembles.
