HOW TO SPOT A HOAX UFO VIDEO (HD)

As I'm sure you are aware, the Internet is packed full of UFO evidence in various forms. However, video footage is primarily considered the best form of evidence. But as with all forms of UFO evidence, it is subject to a lot of hoax attempts. Unfortunately, many people fall victim to hoax videos of UFOs. This ultimately harms the UFO phenomenon.

I have created this video to aid you in identifying hoax videos. The things I suggest to look out for are from my experience and some just common sense. However, there is no other video I can find on YouTube on how to spot a hoax video so this is the only one...for now.

I hope it helps you identify some of the hoaxes out there.

Remember- Don't blindly believe.

@peeperman99 The video appears to have been set at dusk, therefore removing any issues with sunlight and shadows. There are no other identifiable "mistakes" in the video either. As far as hoaxes go, this is perfect.

But this video ultimately fails because of its extraordinary nature, only the one video exists. Where as if this were real, many people would have recorded it.

The haiti video is the only hoax ive seen to date that contains no real mistakes...

Look i have seen many UFOS and don't care what you say i have seen one on the way from my mates house come down out of the sky just like the Jeruslem UFO but at a 45 degree angle.I ran up the road to get a closer look i first thought it to be a shooting star but it wasn't it came straight down and was just sat stationary over Jennyfields CO-OP people were coming and going into the shop as i watched it no one even noticed it was there thats how dumb people are.

Thanks for posting this will help many out, I am one who like yourself says do not believe evrything. However there are some videos that are posted that have nothing to do with CGI or any of that, we are not alone and only arogant fools would believe that we are. nice video on seti on your channel as well had heard bits and pieces on that in the past. Excellent vid, except for one small detail: a notion that "a large portion of UFO videos are hoaxes", is not quite correct.

Historical records show that only a tiny portion of UFO sighting reports turn up to be hoaxes. For example, the Blue Book evaluated as a hoax only 0,9% of the reports they received over the 20 years that the project was active, and they did their best to explain away as many cases as they could.

One should be careful, though, especially when it comes to hyped up UFO vids.
