I have talked to hundreds that disagree with you. It is always difficult whae a friend has died in combat & natural to want to feel that it was worth it. But it wasn't their fault they were sent on a misguided mission based on faulty information. THe War to topple Saddam was over in a day but without a plan for peace a civil war followed that our solders should not be sacrificed to solve, We should only do pesceful rebuilding.

Try talking to someone who is serving 2,3 and 4 tours of duty. Some are there so they can get an education that otherwise they would not be able to afford. I guess from your statement above you have talked to 1 and came to this conclusion. Get educated before making such hideous statements.

In the video "Fifty Tens Of Thousands Surge For Peace"(c.2007)one or the issuses raised by the family of a fallen soldier is how their son knew he was suffering from PTSD and wasn't battle ready but returned due to loyalty to his friends. Is this right? Isn't it time we respect the sacrifices of the soldiers and examine the purpose of the mission and a solution to the problem that is the aftermath of the lack of planning to win the peace.
