@DreamyDomain The original story of Sleeping Beauty is no fairy tale. You're mistaking it for Disney's version of it. In the original story, the prince came along and fell in love with the girl's beauty and to wake her up, he DID NOT kiss her. He had sex with her, therefore, raping her while she was asleep. When she didn't wake up, he left her to be in the castle. She woke up from the pain of child birth.

JigglyRose asks "who was the guy she visits?" It was my understanding that he was a gay man in the last stages of some disease, possibly AIDS. It was intended irony that her most intimate relationship is one in which sex is out of the question. In the end, when Lucy finds herself in bed with the dead client, she cries out in despair because she had done that very deed already once, to honor her best friend's last wishes, and this spoils it by making it into a dirty old man's last sex act.

pure garbage... i just saw this and figured that i owe the world to let people know this is 2 hrs of your life you will never get back... there is no beginning, no point and no conclusion. the purpose is unclear, and the plot has holes in it that make up the whole of the movie. i would no be surprised if it won every oscar and other film award possible, because the worse the movie the more awards it gets.

@luvnpeace12312 The tube thing had nothing to do with the sex stuff. It was a completely separate scientific experiment that she was getting paid to take part in. She screams at the end because that "old dude" is dead, and death is the only thing that affects her emotionally (the only time we see her cry is when Birdman talks about ending it and then later when he actually dies), presumably because it's the one thing she knows she has absolutely no control over.
