*This story is being told from Demi's Point of View*
*Demi Writing in her Diary*: Ever since I can remember Selena & I have always been like sisters.. Its a bond so strong that it's hard to put into words. But lately I've been having these weird feelings when I'm around her.. I know this sounds really stupid but.. I think I have a crush on my best friend. I don't know if I should tell her anything about it because Im scared of how she might react.. I dont want to lose her friendship. Well I guess I'll just have to wait & see where this takes me.
*Demi closes her Diary & puts it under her pillow*
*Her cell phone rings* *Its Selena* *She answers with a big smile on her face*
Demi: Hello
Selena: Hi Dems what are you doing?
Demi: Not much I was just cleaning my room.. & you?
Selena: Well I just got home from spending some quality time with my mom!
*They both laughed*
Demi: Well if you're not doing anything, you can come over if you want..
Selena: K I'll be over in a bit!
Demi: Ok see you soon! Bye!
Selena: Bye
*Demi smiles & runs to her closet to get changed* *She wants to look pretty for Sel*
*20 minutes Later*
*Demi's door rings* *She runs downstairs & opens the door*
Selena: Hey hun!
Demi: Hi Sel! *Hugs Selena*
Demi: Come on let's go up to my room so we can talk..
Selena: Talk? ..About what? You have some gossip to tell me!!
Demi: *Laughing* No silly! I just want to talk to you about something..
Selena: Oh no.. what did I do now??
*Demi pulls her by the hand*
Demi: Come on u dork!
*They go up to Demi's room* *They both sit on the bed*
Selena: So what's up? ..What did u have to tell me??
*Demi plays with her hair cuz shes nervous*
Demi: Well Sel you know that I have never kept any secrets from you right??
Selena: I hope not.. *Throws a pillow at Demi*
*They both laugh & Demi grabs the pillow and hugs it around her waist*
Demi: No Im serious.. I've never kept anything from you.. Thats why I wanted to let you know
something that I've been feeling for these past couple of days. It's really weird cuz I didnt feel like this before.. & now all of a sudden i just have these feelings..
*Sel interrupts her*
Selena: Ok Dem.. you're scaring me.. Just say it.. you know I'm here for you no matter what.
Demi: That's the thing.. Im scared that after I tell you, you wont want to.. *Selena's phone rings*
Selena: Sorry I gotta answer..It's my mom. Hold on for just a minute!
*Selena steps outside the room to talk to her mom*
*Demi looks down at the floor with a sad look on her face*
*Selena comes back in the room*
Selena: Sorry Demi we'll talk about this later k.. I have to go meet my manager to talk about a new movie that they want me to do.. I'll give you a call later ok??
*Selena hugs Demi & blows her a kiss as she goes downstairs*
*Demi waves to her from the top of the stairs & then returns to her room with tears in her eyes*
Demi: I guess it wasnt meant for me to tell her my feelings.. Ugh..It was stupid of me to even try!
*She hugs her pillow as tears roll down her cheek..*
*She closes her eyes gently as she begins to fall asleep..*
*The next morning Demi is woken up by her cell phone ringing*
*She looks at her phone as she wipes her eyes so that she can see more clearly*
Demi: Hello..
Selena: Hey girly it's me!
Demi: Oh hey.. *in a very sad tone*
Selena: Hey sorry about yesterday.. I promise I'll make it up to u k!
Demi: Yeah that's ok.. It wasnt important anyway.. Just forget about it..
Selena: Well either way Im gonna make it up to you, how about we hang out all day today.. NO PHONE CALLS I PROMISE!!
Demi: Sure that sounds good... What do you wanna do?
Selena: Umm I dont know.. how about we go to the park or somthing?? We'll grab some ice cream or something on the way??
Demi: K I'll let you know when I'm ready..I gotta shower first..
Selena: Yeah me too.. Well talk to you in a bit then!
Demi: Ok bye
*They both hang up & start getting ready*
Selena talking to herself: I wonder what's wrong with Demi.. She sounds a little weird.. As if something was bothering her. Oh well I guess it's not that important otherwise she would have told me..
*The girls finish getting ready to spend the day together*
Will Demi tell Sel how she really feels?
Will Sel ask Demi what has been bothering her?
