Great video and great point. If you haven't seen it, Ricky Gervais does an excellent stand-up routine on the logical inconsistency of that story, search his name with creationism and it should turn up.

How would Adam and Eve know they were crossing God if they lacked knowledge of good and evil before eating of the fruit?
The correct answer is that they couldn't have known. Therefore, the story is logically inconsistent thus false.

There is one explanation that would make it consistent: god is the asshole described by Dawkins. It doesn't explain how could Adam and Eve would know they were doing a bad thing but it would explain why god still punished them.
