La damnation de Faust (The Damnation of Faust), Op. 24 is a work for four solo voices, full seven-part chorus, large children's chorus and orchestra by the French composer Hector Berlioz. He called it a "légende dramatique" (dramatic legend). It was first performed at the Opéra-Comique in Paris on 6 December 1846.

  • @Fledermaus1990 Bè.....Wagner, Beethoven, Mahler, Rachmaninov, Cajkovskij, etc :D Scherzi a parte, è una melodia molto bella.

    Strauss, hmm.......nel "Der Zigeunerbaron", giusto? :)

  • @IlaryRhineKlange Sì Strauss la inserisce nel finale del II Atto del "Zigeunerbaron" ma anche nel finale della polka "Eljen a Magyar!"

  • @IlaryRhineKlange Hai ragione, forse è meglio dire che diversi compositori l'hanno citata nelle loro composizioni, ma non proprio tutti!!!
