The "capital of Arab culture" is supposed to promote Arab culture and heritage and encourage co-operation in the region. But this year's choice falls on a city that Israel says is its capital - Jerusalem.

"Anti-semitism" is a political tool used by Jews when they have lost the intellectual argument and moral high ground on issues. "Anti-semitism" is a weapon for financial gain and political sympathy. Jews make the historical and scientific mistake of equating SEMITE with JEW/JUDAISM when in fact ethnic semites include people who practice Islam, Christianity, Judaism or are atheists.

The Palestinian woman and the Jewish lawyer are both right -(1) Zionist Jews will never have a culture until they respect that all people are equal and justice prevails with Arabs and Palestinians having the same rights, and (2) the liberation of Palestinians with East Jerusalem as their capital will also be the liberation of Israeli Jews.
