I also have this. Dont know how long, I only hope it isnt something serious. Also have floaters which I hate much more.
I try to stay positive, I think they are much more serious ilnesses like VS.
Before few years I visited my eye doctor with this condition...he dont know what it is, i must google it for him. Hi told me that he can ask on this to his friends and if they told him that it can be serious he call me back...and he didnt.
stay strong people.

@theprodigy4592 Will do. Looks like you will have one before me though so I'll be interested what your results will be too. Good luck.

@MrFaulconbridge i have the exact same symptoms ..
getting an mri in 2 weeks. let me know if u find anything !

I have this, only for my left eye, i can see it with my right eye too, just not as strong As if that would not be enough, my left eyesight is quite bad.

@aigg Sorry to hear that. I've been having some other symptoms like muscle numbness/tingling and headache pains throughout the day. Hopefully my doctor will give me an MRI to check for multiple sclerosis.
I think you should get an MRI too just to rule out anything serious. Just remember there are others suffering from it and you are not the only one. Stay strong and don't let it control your life.
Some people believe visual snow is some type of permanent migraine aura or mental strain.

@MrFaulconbridge Unfortunately not. I won't lie; it's absolutely horrible and i can not find a way of getting used to it. It really is a 24/7 terror that can only be avoided during sleep. Of course getting to sleep is not so easy either, as i can't get it dark anymore. I close my eyes an all i see are these millions of sparkling "particles", making me see light where there is none. Like tiny explosions constantly going off in front of my eyes. Doctors don't have a clue. Pretty hopeless situation

This Video is rally bad becouse i got visual snow!
The particles are not moving!
But u can see them the whole time!
Ah well we just have a fancy post processing "film grain" effect,
what others dont have. With their cheap no effects vision...

This video isn't entirely accurate for me. My dots are tiny (as small as you can imagine possibly seeing), and they don't move around a whole lot (I can't really describe the motion, but if I tried, I'd say they look like they're shaking in place. ) It's better in bright light, and much worse in dark light. In the dark, sometimes they flicker out and in. (like flashing) There's a facebook group where people are contacting reseachers now. Just search " visual snow".
