I got a good laugh when you blocked the poisoned food.

Thanks. I do that every time a poisoned food gets in my way very easily (especially in multiplayer.) Blocking is a very good way to cut damage in half (even damage from poisoned food.)

I mentioned the Stop Time on this level in an earlier comment. I discovered after not using the one in the Toxic Spire level of the Sky Dominion (it is in the same area where the gargoyle is) that it goes away between levels. So use it or lose it.

And do watch your shooting around those two red barrels - the plain one has a speed powerup in it, and it usually gets destroyed

In the Gamecube version, I usually save the Stop Time powerup on this level for the gargoyle. The golem is slow and can't shoot at you, so he's much less dangerous.

But he can still do a hefty amount of damage to you if you get too close and he hammers the ground.

me and my friend played gauntlet for like a week of our lives. he went level 89-99 (he'd played up to yeti) i went 1-60 or 70 somethin'. First thing we did was pwn chimera. lvl 1 and lvl 89 vs. the chimera was pretty funny. The charecter i was being was the special charecter bat900 he was blue wizard
