F-15 jets with the Oregon Air Force National Guard taking off and conducting in-flight refueling out of Portland Air National Guard Base while participating in a training exercise. Several units with the Oregon National Guard are working along with several other states and the active duty military in an air defense operation called Amalgam Dart.

  • I'd give my left nut to have that job. Damn that's one sexy mother fucking bird. Greetings from Sweden and a Swedish Marine Hoorah!

  • I love going to PDX to watch these guys take off, PDX is under the noise abatement agreement so they have to do high performance takeoffs ALL the time...afterburner w/ low transition and unrestricted climb to angles 15! Never get tired of seeing it.

  • southwest pilot is like " i wish i had that job"

  • Great video I sure miss the jets taking off I'm a old Air Force brat. Thank you for the GREAT videos of our military.

  • @CJCA915 true, an F-18 has a much beefier look, but I'm sure they hold up fine.

  • You'd think those nose gears would just snap, at how thin and flimsy they look.
