Something that I respect about the beatles, they dont kiss the press' ass like celebrities do these days, they are not trying to please anyone. In every interview people try to make controversies out of them or put them in a compromising position. They never let the media control them, its like they take over the interview and the people asking the questions are the ones that end up humiliated.

This is 2 days prior to their last concert @ Candlestick park.

They had already had a press conference for the "We're bigger than Jesus" comment on Aug 11. They are tired of these questions. Actually, they are just tired of all of this shit.

Their staggering success coupled with the mass insanity that followed them everywhere made them give up touring and these media events.
