I was Michael's first detail beast squad leader. It hurts to know he's gone. He's missed by the graduates. This is a touching tribute to an amazing person. Be thou at peace Michael.

Just found this video by accident and watched it out of curiosity. Halfway through it dawned on me that it might be a memorial. Now I've finished watching and have tears in my eyes and prayers on my lips for Mike and his family. Thanks, on this day after Memorial Day, for giving me this beautiful tribute to an outstanding young American. My life is richer for this brief glimpse into Mike and his sacrifice.

My prayers are with you all. I was crying as I watched and I didn't know him personally. Too many young men and women have died. He looks like he was a wonderful son and young man. God bless you all, and thank you Mike, for giving your all.

I did not know mike, but I know the type, as that I also laaid it all on the line for my country also. As I could se in the pictures, Mike touched a lot of lifes that will not let him be forgotten anytime soon. I'm sure the world is a better place for him being here for the short time he was here with us. God bless brother and I'll see you on the other side. Have an Iron City waiting there for me when I get there.
