Daniel/Betty - Season 1 hugs

Sometimes you can't see if daniel is hugging back, like in the last one [but i like to think he did] Also, I didn't include the one-sided hugs.

The first thing I noticed is that they seem to be always touching... not just hugs but arms on shoulders and backs. I would never touch a boss. I'm surprised it's the middle of the third season and no one questions how close they are. But I'm glad they are catering to the Detty fans more and more (though I love Gio and Molly).

Daniel was most definitely hugging her everytime! he has one of those 'lower back' hugs....mmmmmm my favorite ;-)

@bubblecharts41 I agree with you. I LOVE DANIEL..there's sumting so suttle and sexy and humble about it..and he is soo vulnerable...my life is like betty's....worst actually, so i relate the most with her character....and think i have found mi Daniel, he helps me out, he inspires me.... :(

I think he denies it to Claire only because he doesnt want her to know, he's not that confortable with it.... But to me the "hilda speech look" is the "moment of realisation":)

@babybatzilla lol. U r right. But love takes time, it takes " that moment " of realisation which happns for Daniel in season 4 Ep 20. Such is life.

these weren't in chronological order, right? anyway - love, love, love. they are so comfortable with each other and such good friends - and i love the way that daniel gradually becomes more comfortable with being close to her, and allowing her to help him through his problems. :)

I love their hugs. It showed just how comfortable they were in their relationship to do so and how quickly they were becoming friends at that point.

My favorite hug was from episode 1-10. I had always been touched by that scene. Surprising Betty with that gift and the upset looks on their faces when they had their goodbye hug just showed the general caring they had for one another despite only knowing one another for such a short time. ^_^
