Five Wet Foster Kittens

I had to give these kittens a bath as they had stuff matted in the fur on their feet. These are the kitties right after I brought them in my room after their bath... the movie is short so I can help them dry off. We've just started fostering kittens with the Humane Society. They give you kittens that are underweight or have mild problems such as a cold, and you take care of them for 2 weeks or more and then bring them back. Every kitten that gets fostered has a great chance at being adopted. When the humane society is at capacity, these kittens tend to just be euthanized if there is no one to foster them. It's also like a kitten exchange program... great for anyone who ever complained that kittens eventually turn into cats! Although my adult cat is the greatest (but he isn't as pleased as I am about the HS kitten foster program.) Call your local humane society and inquire if you'd like to get involved! I know our Humane Society doesn't have nearly enough volunteers for fostering and that programs everywhere are looking for help.

I had a heater present, but yes, it does make them cold. Ordinarily I wouldn't give them a bath but they came to me with grime matted in their fur.

I live in Mexico, and here there are many animals that dont have a home!! And I have saved dogs and cats!! One cat after I saved it, a car claimed it was his, so we said well you left him in the middle of a 2 lane highway!! And so he said well he jumped out... We ignored the man and we saved the cat, tuck him to the Humane Society (were I'm a volunter) and a few hours later he was adopted and brot to Canada!!
