As Above So Below

A portrait of Los Angeles (1995) by arts collective Collage Ensemble Inc. (Alessandra Moctezuma, Steven M. Irvin, Brandy Maya Healy and Alan Nakagawa). Created by the ensemble filming their fav spots in Dowtown LA and then cutting the processed footage in 3' strips. The film strips where edited Exquisite Corpse inspired. Some of the footage was spliced upside down or backwards. The film was shown internationally with the ensemble creating the soundtrack live with found objects and prerecorded sound. As Above So Below was performed at various galleries in Los Angeles. www.collagecollage.com
