@TheSteko93 At times I almost dream I too have spent a life the sages' way, And tread once more familiar paths. Perchance I perished in an arrogant self-reliance Ages ago; and in that act, a prayer For one more chance went up so earnest, so Instinct with better light let in by death, That life was blotted out—not so completely But scattered wrecks enough of it remain, Dim memories, as now, when once more seems The goal in sight again.

I was an xfiles fan for a long time, but somehow I never saw this episode until I bought the entire season on dvd. It was like finding money you never knew you had, and it instantly became my favorite episode. The way it begins and ends is so haunting. It was like, it felt good to feel sad.

This right here is one of the most captivating, immersive, thought-provoking scenes in the history of television. I sometimes find myself just humming the musical score from this scene.....
