A Rutt Etra Quartz Composer Patch based on Steve Rutt & Bill Etra's amazing video synthesizer from 1972.

The video I am using as the key image was shot on a 1st gen iPhone with the jailbreak video app Cycorder which as a nice slow framerate. Video is feeding seagulls flying overhead, Big Corona cliffs, Corona Beach, CA.

I used this patch and many other glitchy iterations as projected visualizations for Cal State Long Beach Electronic Music Department's "Laptop Ensemble", 11/20/11.
