@NewYorkDontLoveMe bands like this struggle because they don't sound like everything else in the mainstream today. they actually try making decent music.

The loser rides a bike--what a badly dated image just ten years later. Indie changed everything and good bands like this one (Tommy Walters') that relied on major labels and the same old suburban imagery failed. Maybe it still got fans in nowheresville, but style changed where it mattered. It was almost revolutionary.
