Appearing on CNBCs The Kudlow Report this evening, House Budget Committee Ranking Republican Paul Ryan (R-WI) explained how Speaker Pelosis 2,032-page government takeover of health care will saddle small businesses with crushing mandates and punitive new taxes, increase rather than decrease health expenditures over time, and add at least a $1.3 trillion burden on the American middle class over the next ten years.

  • @Caleb6543 you mean the Romneycare nationalized plan written by the insurance industry? That one?

  • @smilingseal

How about anyone who oppses tis bill to NOT pay taxes. Just boycott it. The I.R.S. would be totally overwhelmed...

  • @econfkw

The electric and other energy companies are gauging us way more than the insurance companies, yet you do not hear the Democrats whining about them...

  • Think about it. Bush's worst two years with the economy were his last two, which had a Democrat majority Congress. Clinton's worst two where his first, which also had a Democrat lead Congress. Are we seeing a trend here?

Seriously, Gingrich & Co had the ideas that lead to a balanced budget in the 90's, not Bill Clinton, he simply went along with their plans...

  • @BrendettNC so some how one of the biggest industries is going to fail either way? your retarded and were did you get your info because they are as dumb as you are

  • "If the health don't pass the private insurance will go broke because no one will be able to afford them !"

Did u take econ 101? Why would insurance Co charge a premium so high that no one can buy it? If there is competition, the market price is determined by supply and demand. A single firm can hardly control price. To increase profit, they should reduce cost, but the proposed HC bill makes it very difficult. bottom line: the bill is a hoax. medical inflation is 15%, they don't consider it.

  • The health care bill will knock down the private insurance company down a peg.

They will be the ones to downsize.

    not the small business.

If the health don't pass the private insurance will go broke because no one will be able to afford them ! either way the private insurance will loose there companies it time for them to cry a little we the people have by there hands!

  • You vote for slavery. Your a begger looking for handouts.

  • There is no such thing as insurance in the US, we have prepaid medical cards, much like a prepaid phone card, because people are too dense to understand that their employer is deducting what they pay in insurance directly from what they would pay in salaries. This is made possible by the tax code that allows prepaid medical to be tax free, giving large corporations a huge advantage over small start up businesses. All other insurance is used in case of a catastrophe, why is medical different?
