no i dont like hondas, and i dont like dumb ricers, you put a turbo timer on an NA car, totally pointless and a waste of money, just something a ricer does, oh and what good cars does honda have? none...at least toyota has good cars, and engines.....

Dumbasses sound better when you cant hear them, yet your still talking.

Dude, where did you get these headers, I desperately needs one!!!

would be a hell of alot easier to just drop a 4age 20v in it. I put the blacktop with 6speed trans in mine. Dudes car being a 7afe the 5sfe head swap would be a pain in the ass because the engine mounts are not the same on an S engine. The A will drop right in.. Or a 4agze out of and mr2 would be nice too, and I kinda wish I had done that. Now I need 4agze pistons if i ever want to turbo my 4age 20v bt.

7AFE NOT A BAD ENGINE ITS THE GARBAGE MAPPING IN THE ECU GET STANDALONE AND DO SOME HEAD PORTING AND YOUR LOOKING AT BLACKTOP 20V 4AGE STATUES WITH LESS HP BUT LOADS OF TORQUE IT WAS MY FIRST SETUP AND ENGINE

@noobasdfjkl 7afe = good car for economy. To make performance means big money. To do a 4age head swap properly you need money for changing 7afe rods to forged, 4age forged high-compression 12:1 pistons, bearings, 4age main and head studs, 20-valve blacktop head is best for turbo as it breathes better, silvertop head is best for N/A. For 20-Valve heads only, if using the 4age oil-pump and add-ons you can use the 4age timing belt. 2mm head gasket to get compression down to around 11.5:1.

@noobasdfjkl my 1995 corolla has a 7afe engine with 240,000 miles on it, i just took it to the mechanic and everything is still in great condition, the rings arent even showing hardly any wear on them and the engine doesnt burn any oil, this is after its been in my family for 16 yrs and me racing and revving the engine with performance intake and exhaust. and only one thing has broke which was the ignition, which cost 00 to replace and its still my daily driver.

it sounds like most of the rotted out crap I see in the city lol
the 7afe was a horrible engine. Get a 5sfe, switch the head with the 3sgte, install the turbo: and you got a fantastic engine.

@noobasdfjkl Its a fine engine for what it is. An economy engine, Not a performance one. And 7A+G head= Fantastic engine.

7AFE engines are not horrible engines. They last a very long time, get good gas mileage and are found in several vehicles from the corolla, GM's corolla.. the geo prism, and the Celica ST model. Nothing wrong with a solid foundation for longevity. If you want to go fast you don't buy a vehicle with a 1.8l N/A engine in it just to throw your money away swapping out parts and rebuilding the engine. You buy a turbocharged car as a base platform, and build up from there.
