Ocean Shores December 2007 storm, Damon Point PART 2

This is some of the stormy weather we had out in Ocean Shores during early December 2007. Power was knocked out for a record amount of time of at least 5 days and longer in other areas.

This video is from Damon Point. This road has been closed for years because it has been eaten away by the ocean a couple times, now the road is completely destroyed and gone entirely. It is sad we lost this because our city was unwilling to reinforce it with large rocks like our jetty. As you can see the road kind of disappears and there is an ocean where the road should be. Those wood pilings on the right of the road used to be RV stalls, that was an RV park and it is now in the ocean, the ocean used to be a couple hundred feet away and would normally be out of view from this area.
