chinese kung fu does have the same mechanics (as in using your body for the strikes). If you know chinese MA, you would know that using your body in your srikes is actually emphasized in Shaolin Kung Fu. If you want other people to resepect your MA, stop speaking fallacies of other people's MA.

Somehow the whole concept of moving fluently, using a dynamic pattern as a defensive posture and using impuls from it seems a bit similar to some of the principles used in the capoeira ginga. Sometimes the movements seen in this video are even very similar to a typical beginner's capoeira ginga. Interesting video, very fast techniques.
