Eigg Electric - Renewable Energy for the Isle of Eigg

With no mainland electricity connection, and after decades of using diesel generators, the people of community-owned Isle of Eigg switched on their own renewable electricity supply in February 2008. I've been there some 5 years ago rebuiding their church with some friends of mine. It was wonderful and I never had the opportunity to thank those people properly. The people is outstanding!!!
