With no mainland electricity connection, and after decades of using diesel generators, the people of community-owned Isle of Eigg switched on their own renewable electricity supply in February 2008. Great video! Good to see all these types of renewable energy being used together, and changing the lives of the islanders for the better! Hope your plans for the future are as successful as the electric scheme.

I've been there some 5 years ago rebuiding their church with some friends of mine. It was wonderful and I never had the opportunity to thank those people properly. The people is outstanding!!!
