  • This is the first time I have ever heard anyone praise Pavarotti's acting- and from an actual actor, no less!

If you ever see the production of La Boheme they are discussing, his acting in it is really very good. When he was young he still made a real effort.

  • I loved this brief interview. Always enjoyed hearing the maestro speak english. It is so hard to believe he is gone. RIP mio amico. La tua voce vivera per sempre!

  • bobba boopity boopy boppita boopy

  • Looks like Tony Randall was only around 5'8", since I believe Pavarotti was 5'11" or 6 feet.

  • saluti a tutti!

  • Shit happens. He sung it in examplery fashion so many times that we have lost count. Some tenors never sung La Boheme in key (along with many other lyric roles) and pretended to be the next best thing after sliced bread!

  • Too bad he blew the C...lol. He had to hold back the reigns before he lost it...but he made it through.

  • BENT NAIL IS '(TOCCA FERRO),Touch Iron', as opposed to knock on wood in USA. All iron, you see

that all over Italy probably because it would be more difficult to locate. USA knock on wood originally would be tapping a tree. It was Customary when a person sold Land that the seller "GRANTOR' would either hand over a tree branch or Soil from that land to GRANTEE.

  • luciano pavarotti seems to me a little norvous, but he was so nice man, and this is just wonderful to see him and to listen him haw he talk, as much his singing. i just love him.

  • I am proud to say that I have seen Big Pava with Ms. Scotto at the Met. Although I was a youngster at that time, I still remember how the audience was mesmerized by Pava and Scotto's singing.

  • Well, why a rabbit's foot, not a goat's, a elephant's or even a human's? =)
