Your generation is fed corporate created images from the music industry making you think rap artists and heavy metal players are empty shells void of emotion both on and off camera. Back in our day there was still an ounce of chivalry left; love songs we're deep, and emotional. Today the pejorative colloquialism for such an action is to be "emo", used often as a tacit obligation to keep your emotions to yourself.
