haha i never get sick of watching PSBN get beat up by Mel :)

I think all the comments about it being a bad lesson are silly. This was most likely shown with the idea that someone who isn't supposed to be messing with you does this. Perhaps they could have elaborated better.
The technique is a very decent one, but perhaps more realism in demonstrating application? the wrist grab looked obviously week. But I love Kuk Sool Won (a practitioner myself)!

I go to that martial arts school :)

not bad except the kick is not very good to teach to a older person or a business proessional who never kicked before-whitewolf
-
haha too bad about 99% of people wouldn't immediately attack someone for them putting their arm around them

You know what? If the dude fights back, you change and use a different move on him. It's not rocket science, it's common sense, Maruuna. a kswmom

Won't work against a guy who fights back and knows what he is doing. But against average-joes almost everything goes...:D
-
that'll be easy to do if he's standing up, but i've experienced situations like that sitting down and closer together too. i can easily see myself doing half that at least.

yep thats the sort of instructor you want, one who teaches you how to fend of your mates. Up next, how to break the wirst elbow and shoulder of a business associate who motions to shake your hand :P
or you could just say, "dude, get your arm off of me".

I sense legal troubles coming up... A clear overreaction. When Martial Arts schools play self-defense, it can often be naive (at best) or irresponsible.
