  • @coatsy18 We shouldn't be forced to see those pictures, you're right about that. But what about the Americans who are about to agree to go and die for their country. Should we shelter them from what might happen? Should we say "it's your choice to go, but you can't see what happens to those before you?" And actually, there have been releases of murder victim pictures...not wide-spread of course, but it happens. If its so honorable to die the way they did, why can't WILLING families reveal them?

  • outside world. If we did, we'd be a totally different country. Ariafanoos is right. The outside world isn't surrounded by propaganda like we are - they're, for the most part, able to see past the bullshit.

    I encourage you to learn about the history of our government. Not from history books, because they tend to withhold information as well, but from your own research. By the way, you're too young to think in terms of liberal/conservative - it's not healthy for a developing mind to be so narrow.

  • I'm from Charleston, SC - born in California. It really isn't a stereotype. It isn't true for all Americans, I know that, but it has some merit across the board.

    It's no coincidence that "marketing researchers" usually have experience in psychology.

    Once you realize that all TV stations are owned by only a handful of corporations (~4) and one man controls most of what you hear on FM radio stations and newspapers, you'll see what I'm talking about.
