THE NEW MONKEY pt2.

Mákina was born in the early 90s in Valencia, Spain. Over the years it has progressed in speed and sound. It is now a worldwide genre of music with many Producers and DJ's. Clubs such as Chocolate, ACTV, Puzzle, Chasis, Pont Aeri, and many more, have played an important part helping Mákina become what it is today.

In 1999 Mákina became very popular in the North East, UK. Past clubs, After Dark 2, The New Monkey and Energize promoted the style. Present clubs Hanger 13, Northern Bounce and Deja Vu still hold regular Mákina parties. Mákina has also managed to find its way to Scotland with a club night called Dimensional in Glasgow.
