@billionairesuperstar The fact of the matter is, what needs to happen is a clamp down of excessive corporate greed, exploitation, and special privelages for ultra-wealthy individuals. All of trhese things exist, and if you one denying it, your probably in a position that is well served by this set of circumstances.
Second. I dont like how all these experts keep coming back to engineering as the "only" profession. I know tons of engineers who are out of work or underemployed. I personally have an undergraduate in finance, an havent been able to find satisfactory employment since I graduated in 2008. I gaurantee if everyone started pouring into engineering as a profession (which I imagine a disproportionately high number are now doing) that professions too will become a commodity.
Im gonna have to say this is a load of crap. I dont disagree that the education system is broken. My arguement exists in two parts. One, most of the kids graduating with liberal degrees were lied to. What do I mean by this? A university exists for the benefit of its students, Its not a for profit concern, or at least it shouldnt be. I do believe some or alot of the burden should fall on the schools to educate young people, not only in the material, but the potential for employment post grad.
Sam Zell is an idiot. This fuckstick is spewing a load of crap that people are buying. He's almost as bad as Bill O'Reilly when it comes to misinformation. There's engineers that are unemployed, there's literary arts majors that are unemployed. Sam Zell is a lapdog for corporate America.
Corporate investor citizens are grossly exceeding their due of one man one vote influence in determining where our collective tax dollars are spent and what our gov. policies will be.
It has gotten to the point that we've even had a war created just to feed a corporation because a former CEO of Halliburton was in the white house.
This is a real bad situation folks, and corporate media has been giving us the feed as to how we should respond to this Thats gonna change!
When banks will start to worry about the soundness of student's repayment and his degree and prospect about finding jobs with that degree, they will start to cut the number of loans. The biggest problem is artificial low interest rates and money from central bank. Years ago when the government was out of guaranteeing students loans, people not even didn't took loans, but they were able to work and pay totally the tuition from earning.
