Excellent video. Wow, brought back memories of crossing from Prescott going home to Cottonwood. We wrecked on Mingus about 5 miles above Jerome one winter night.

Those two were not very bright now where there? What, did they think there would be less snow as they went up the mountain? They should have stayed home...

I just drove this road last Friday (3/4/11) in perfect weather. I cannot imagine driving this in snow. The stretch of SR 89A on Mingus Mountain is one of the most terrifying roads I have ever been on.

And they were up there in over two feet of snow... in the year 1930! Some tough people!

No. It was the famous Professor Hall. We were very fortunate he was in a good mood and decided to allow us to videotape his performance. Thank you Professor Hall!
