Not sure what djmirx1 is trying to get at as none of my dogs have come from pet stores or the "east" whichever "east" that may be. Actually, dogs from ethical and moral pedigree breeders normally cost far less than those from pet stores or BYBs. As for "private farms" to me that reads Puppy mills and that is NOT a place you want to get a dog from.

pessima scelta comprare un cane in un negozio.. il più delle volte sono importati dall'est e alcuni arrivano veramente in condizioni allucinanti e con alcune malattie.. sei stato fortunato che il tuo sia sano.. ma comprate solo cani da privati affidabili o in allevamenti.. meglio spendere qualche soldo in più ma almeno avere maggiori garanzie e non incoraggiare questo mercato dei cuccioli comprandoli in negozio.

@djmirx1 Translated from the Italian "bad choice to buy a dog in a store .. in most cases are imported from the east and some go really hallucinating conditions and diseases .. you have been lucky that yours is healthy .. but only buy dogs from reliable or private farms .. better to spend more money but at least have more security and does not encourage this market for puppies in the store buying them."
