Caring for the world God has given us, the members of the World Mission Society make great efforts to protect the environment. Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is an invasive plant that has made its way to New Jersey. This plant, endemic to the Far East, is cause of major concern in Appelt Park (Riverdale, NJ). The World Mission Society Church of God helps maintain the balance of the ecosystem by removing this invasive species. The officials of the Pequannock River Coalition were greatly pleased with the progress achieved during this cleanup task.
