U2 AND JOHNNY CASH -- THE WANDERER by U2MIXER

Hi all

The Wanderer is a song about redemption. A song about one man's search to find himself.

I think of June Carter as Johnny's saviour. She was his guiding light, his pathway to redemption, his soul mate and his salvation thru Him.

I have purposely made the video quite literal at times because the song tells a story and I wanted the video to follow that storyline and to bring the viewer in and involve them on an emotional level.

I have also used many photographs and edited and manipulated them to compliment the 'story'.

Sorry if the quality of the video has been affected by uploading, but I still hope you like it.

It's how we find Him. My thoughts are that Johhny found Him through June. Bono's lyrics were wrote with Johnny in mind, but were not specifically about Mr.Cash's search for God be that through June Carter or another path.

This song gives me the kind of goosebumps few songs can. I get them every time I hear it. U2 and Johnny Cash are two of the artists who can really move me, and having both of them in the same song just created something.... amazing.

This is SO not a song about redemption...its about imperialism, and the mindset of the warrior who must believe in something otherworldly (god) in order to do what he does. Its about a man who is convinced by religion to forsake all.
