Evolution has no competing theories. A "scientific theory" is a specific scientific term for an explanation that has been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Its in any scientific glossary of terms.

In evolutionary "theory", the scientific definition is meant, like in germ theory, atomic theory or gravitational theory. Evolution is very heavily evidenced. Its even followed mathematically now over generations, instead of just by identifying traits, thanks to DNA sequencing.

Is a good person so my faith is reasonable and justified. When it comes to religious faith, all experiences show that that faith is unreasonable and unlikely to be true. Therefor is just unnatural to continue believing in it. Noone would buy the bread after he ate a poisoned bread from the seller. Many instead continue to have faith in religions even if they have been demonstrated false and dangerous. Anyway, until religion remain a private affair I have nothing against it.

If you are happier what you're doing is right and I'm happy for you. Coming back to faith, it depends on what we define as faith I think. Often we use this vocab as a very intense word to indicate something not common. Instead of this use I think that faith is nothing but trust and belief. When I buy the bread I have the faith that that bread is not poisoned, so I have faith and trust in the seller, so faith is not bad. The fact is that I have experiences which supports the fact that the seller

That may be. Many chose that faith did not serve their experience of life. But what if faith exists if you choose to think so? And what if what you think comes to be reflected in the world you experience? Just a question I'm asking myself lately. I feel much happier and feel more alive than I do when I am looking for answers ... it's in the looking within that I've seen the 'around me', so far ... :) Peace.

Nice try Darwin, but even today sone of the worlds most prestigous scientists are beginning to doubt this theory, it is pretty outdated.. Many of these key scientists have even admittd that evolution is based extensively on imagination...

I believe biological life can only come from biological life, correct me if science states otherwise. Once you decide to advance past that statement you enter the realms of personnel belief. Its a statement that such as yourself dislikes not because its wrong but because its right.

What if our senses, the empirical, are not the only measure of reality? What if evolution is a larger organization than we ourselves have 'seen' because we are part of it? We are not detached observers, but immersed in consciousness/existence/energy. Our definitions only organize experience. The nature of enquiry is part of our enquiry! I don't think science and faith are at war.
