@rockabi1954 ... Thinking back I remember seeing Joe on TV a few years before his passing with his original guitar .. I think it was on Austin City Limits in early 80's ... I bought one of the Mosrite mass produced 6-12 strings & sold it because of it's weight - I could never understand how little Larry Collins could handle his Mosrite while dancing around ... sure would love to see/play that original JM Mosrite. I also neglected to mention how good this kid is in the video.
@rockabi1954 ... I've seen Joe's Double Neck in the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville (the one with the white pickguard) always wondered what happened to the original that was used on Town Hall Party in the 50's. According to what you're saying it was stripped of some of the decorative items? - if so; who has the guitar now? Larry Collins had almost the identical Mosrite with Bigsby (Fender) type headstocks-Deke Dickerson has almost the same model as Joe's w/3 pickups.
All you need is a better haircut and a shiny suit and you're ready to go.

The world needs to focus in on young talent like this instead of the crap that passes for such these days. Wonderful job, young man!
