  • @MyHatIsGreen It's being rendered in Software rendering. The point is the technology is not taxing on the system.

  • @DCMAKER133

how can ANYONE prove anything about their technology when it isn't even out yet???

"AKA only thing that is processed is what is on your screen. "

this is correct, when you replace processed with rendered.

i would still be very interested to see HOW you can PROVE something about a technology you haven't access to.....

  • @Arteanor everyone has proven they are standard voxels....he just uses a different name...all he has done is come up with a very efficient algorithm to make the process efficient. AKA only thing that is processed is what is on your screen.

  • @Arteanor "the ATOMS are colored/textured" exactly! so you need even more space to store every atom in 3 dimensions compared to flat texture images. Don't you got a hint why 3d-scanning take time? = Lot of data. The knowledge of engines like Cryengine, Unreal, Frostbite etc comes from experience of making real games not isolated research.

  • @Arteanor I'm tired of those who repeating 1 atom for each pixel. That is easy if the world is static aligned 1 km away but what if there are 50 soldiers running around then its not easy or fast to find the right spot for just that pixel. If Battlefield 3 take 10 GB and we decide everything should have x10 higher resolution, math exercise please?

  • @DCMAKER133

    these aint your standard voxels.

as Dell said, it depends on your definition of voxels.

  • @hombacom

"Texture resolution is limited by RAM memory, you know just one image take easily 10+ MB uncompressed in memory. So how can Euclideon fool you that you can have unlimited details without increasing memory?"

because they have no need for textures, the ATOMS are colored/textured.

"They are quiet about the bad repetition in their demos and blame it on limited time." THEY ARE NOT AN ART STUDIO. they are a TECHNOLOGY COMPANY.

learn to read, or listen, or think.... any please

  • @hombacom

"The complex things for a CPU are the animations and effects like reflection, shadows, physics etc."

these things are ONLY complex for cpus BECAUSE of the way in which standard graphics are made now... these are all tricks we use to make it LOOK better, without actually being higher quality.

we are NOT asking it to display a virtual world, we are asking for a steady (60+ FPS) stream of images.

images made with their search algorithm, 1 atom for each pixel.
