@TheWeeaboo The slanted eyes people see in Bangkok are actually ethnic chinese. There are more than 9 millions chinese live in Thailand, that's 14 percent of the thai's population. The majority of the northern chinese have slanted eyes and look like mongolian or korean while the southern don't. southern chinese look no different than vietnamese. In fact, the cantonese (south chinese) and vietnamese were the YUE (Viet) tribes from southern China before the han domination.

After a year in Thailand, and having been to Laos/Cambodia, since arriving in Vietnam I have been surprised at how varied everyone is. It's quite refreshing.
I think that's good and bad though, as there are some amazing girls here, but also a LOT of fugly ones. And guess which side are celibate until marriage :|

I think Vietnamese People look different than any of the other Asians . Our eyes aren't as slanted and we don't look all the same like other people . I guess it's my opinion but i think a lot of other Vietnamese would agree . I am Vietnamese by the way .

The only asians that have slanted eyes are koreans, japanese and NORTH China,
South China look similar to vietnamese IMO.
