@Allronix Funny you should mention the annual pranks. I did a short fan fic called "Lost Track of Time", in which I put various elements, including Jet, into the film's timeline after the events of T:L. And I actually have it referenced where Jet actually did provide info to Sam for some of the pranks on the company, with the last one with him being involved with was the "San Francisco Press Conference." I'll PM you the link with it.

@codebreaker2001 Hell, Jet and Sam would probably be dogged with a vicious (and untrue) rumor about them being half-brothers! Ten to one, Jet would be the silent partner on those annual pranks, too. @Allronix It wouldn't be too hard to have Lora written in (as she was at the San Francisco "Flynn Lives" event, the Encom Press Event, where she joined Alan on stage). Honestly, I honestly could see Jet as being sort of a best friend to Sam to the point where they're kinda like brothers,. And who better than a video game programmer to be the perfect warrior/ in-system hacker? I've got a few ideas about Yori and/or Ma3a if they were included in the film, too.

@codebreaker2001 Exactly! The canons mesh for the most part. All you have to fudge are a few dates and account for Lora being alive in Legacy's timeline. I played through this game and read the comic. Most of it fits fine...and when I saw Jet's background & personality? He'd be an EXCELLENT lancer to Sam's hero!

@TheProudAmerican777 It was when it came out. Steve Lisberger was the consultant and considered the game canon. It just got retconned by the film sequel. Even though the director of T:L claimed the game was not canon, the film sure did use a LOT of details from the game.

@Allronix I agree with you. Honestly, since its been hinted that Ed Dillenger Jr. may be the villain in the next film, it'd be great to see the Dillenger vs. Flynn and Bradley trifecta which was in the original film once again. Not to mention the hostile takeover from the game could be a great basis for the film, seeing where Encom must battle for its survival both in the real world and in the computer system too.

The one thing I hated about this game was so much of the landscape was broken in tniy tiny TINY xxx pieces.. Felt more like a tightrope walker than a program.
