I really appreciate what you're doing!
Some great tips :D
yeah, i recently watched all of your videos and you really have a unique touch on the bass.... i wish you tube was more audible because sometimes your speed leaves me perplexed about the details because it is really hard to hear sweeping done that fast.... im an extended range player, but people like you make me wonder if the 4 string is the true art.... great job, and you are actually a good teacher... you told it like it was, hard work, and the techniques are well illustrated.... impressive...

@tragedy1672 Thanks for the kind words. My cheap camera is part of the problem. I need to upgrade. The last 2 videos I made, I plugged into my pc with a Line 6 Ux1, so that the notes come across more clear. I play a 6 string bass now, but I really do miss certain things about my 4 string. There definitely is an art to it. I plan on getting a 4 string again to have on hand when I need to switch things up a little bit.

Dude, thanks alot! i owe you ALL my bass skills
if it wasnt for you, i wouln't be so good as a am now
Can you tell me what kind of strings you use? (the heavy ones)
And another thing! i am thinking about getting a new bass, maybe a 5-string thunderbird! could you help me out with what kinds of basses are good?

@ThaFreakymeL Glad I could help! I am usually not to picky with strings, but I tend to buy D'addarios the most. Check out Spector Basses. They're easy to play and have a huge variety of tone selection.

By the way, what kind of string do you prefer? I love DR strings

@UnshackledMind86 I usually buy D'addarios. I've heard good things about DR strings. I'll have to give them a try sometime.
