The 2009 Adelaide Christmas Pageant has been described as "one of the worst television coverages seen in recent memory" and "the moment that South Australian TV finally keeled over and died"
Technically it was bad enough, but combined with Brenton Ragless' inane and wildly inappropriate commentary, it made for a televisual train wreck.
Take notice of the camera positioning, the terrible audio mix, the general lack of direction, the ill-prepared interviews, the tasteless belching over the Nativity scene and the woefully unrehearsed grand finale where nobody seems to know what is going on, edited here to save you from boredom. Yes, it was even longer. Father Christmas is then welcomed to Adelaide by a hostess who clearly wishes she was elsewhere whilst Santa delivers an incoherent speech to the dozens of people assembled.
Ironically, the TV crew are dressed as clowns.
must say, ir was like 42 degrees that day!

Bah, ever since they replaced the St George float with that terrible Granny Flo I've been annoyed.
But to top it off with the camera work this year... (They didn't even stop on the beautiful nativity scene!)
Please get some better camera operators, or give the rights to another station!
