Those 3 stripes went thru the 50s and onto any crown ordered with wet wall build, not drywall(2 stripes).....

Detroit Diesel 6n71, midengine mount...trans no idea, probably fuller 4 or 5 sp, not sure without being in it.

Those had a Cummins 220, flat six. I had one, painted it to look like a huge VW van. It looks like one in the front.
Believe it or not that bus is a 1950 model. You can tell by the three narrow strips on the side and the tail lights.
Yes, they last forever.
One of the best sounding Detroits I've ever heard. Nothin' like the crisp bark of a well tuned two-stroke. :)
