damn 0-13 im mad that's the nets record we shoulda got turkoglu for vince
-
however rj was and is overrated and j kidd is not a consistent jumpshooter it takes more than great handles and passes to be efficient...when vince got doubled they needed players to make open shots...as great as j kidd is id much rather have steve nash play with vince carter than j kidd and id trade rj ne day for a decent big man who averages more than 1.7 ppg lol(jason collins starting center for nj)

yea thats always there lol even in 05-06 the nets were so entertaining to watch and despite what ppl may think about his best season in nj...i truly feel that the 05-06 campaign was his best and most efficient campaign in nj highlight reel dunks and circus shots every game and clutch gamewinners down the stretch...

I agree Vince isn't washed up. My point was that it's sad seeing the players I grew up with most of all Vince getting old. But it's part of the game. You must agree that he now talks like an ageing player - a veteran - it's fucked. I'll remember Vince in his glory days, when he used to wear the raps uniform. Those were the days....

regarding iverson...i guess u could say he is slightly washed up and doesnt seem to fit ne team nowadays..but i styll love seeing him play...i absolutely loved seeing his rivalry with vc in 2001 when they were dropping back to back 50 point games on eachother in the playoffs lol back when the nba recognized great rivalries but didnt force them on u like theyre constantly attempting to force kobe and lebrons nuts onto all nba fans..

and went on to say...On Friday, coach Stan Van Gundy finally asked him to stop.
He doesn't want Carter fitting in. He wants him standing out.
"I don't want him stepping on the court thinking about fitting in. He can fit in, in the locker room. We didn't bring him here to be a guy who is just moving the ball,'' Van Gundy said. "We want him attacking. I want the guy who has been so good all these years. I want all his greatness."

vince isnt washed up at all...this is just a new beginning for him...i read an article recently...which stated-vince carters talked endlessly about fitting in with a team that reached the NBA Finals last season, about altering his game to fit with center Dwight Howard, and about being happy to change the way he has played his entire career.

theyll trade back again for courtney once he gets better lol
That's fucked man, Vince is now talking like an old man... It's fucked all the players I grew up with are getting old, their joints are fucked and need more grease... Just look at Allen Iverson, he's a fucking washed up now, bouncing from place to place, it's fucked.
