Let me guess you think all USN pilots are like Tom Cruise? Maybe in their own little world they are all Maverick but in the real world give me a A-10 or Harrier pilot anyday before some fighter pussy. Oh and before you talk about brains you should know that it makes you look like a dumb shit to say someone wont amount to anything without knowing what they do for a living or what they have already amounted to in life.

HAHAHAHA You have no idea what I do for a living and yet you're calling me a pussy. The only difference between Navy pilots in the USN and those in the USAF is the type of runways you use. I've met pilots from both the USAF and USN and I have to say that I wasnt impressed at all. Braver and smarter men are fighting in the infantry and special ops.

A-6's carried self defense AIM-9's during desert storm. As did A-10's and A-7's. One Warthog driver told me he couldn't get tone on an iraqi helo, cuz of the hot sand with a sidewinder, so he raked it with his avenger. Whatever works.
