I don't do long distance relationships, because I can't handle them. Some people do fine, but I personally become frustrated that we don't get to share. And because that person is the person close to me... that means that when we do share I end up taking that frustration out on the person I'm supposed to be happy with. So I know what your saying... idk, I just know for me it's the wrong thing to do.
Congrats with the new boyfriend! You deserve someone that "doesn't suck." I've never had a long-distance relationship but I can see how it would be really tough to maintain one. I suppose if the love is strong enough the relationship can thrive. As the saying goes, "love conquers all [obstacles].
Regarding your social anxiety/depression, have you sought professional help? Don't give up on the fight against your anxiety! You can beat it.
i've been in a long distance relationship for over six months now, stick at it. if you both want it to work then it will
