To set up a proper revocable trust it is important to have all the necessary documents in place.

In this video Susan Graham, a Boise Attorney, gives an overview on What Documents You Need For a Revocable Trust.

The revocable trust is like a hub on a wheel. All the other documents feed back to the hub. One of the first documents you need is a last will and testament; AKA The pour-over will.

The will states who will be in charge and where the money and assets go. If property is not in a trust it will be distributed according to Idaho probate law and is out of your control. You want it to go into the trust. You need to sign a financial power of attorney, health power of attorney, living will, deeds, and file the trust with your insurance agent.
