Green Eggs and Ham, Part 1 (Classroom Physical Activity Breaks)

Janet Fendos and her class at Forest Home Elementary demonstrate this activity break, which has students perform different catching patterns--a good lesson to work on hand eye coordination and manipulatives.

Grade level: K-3
Addresses Physical Education Standard 1: "Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities."

Requires two plastic cups per student, one small ball or bean bag per student, the Green Eggs and Ham song, and a media player for the music.
